California Academy of Science Nightlife:
Body and Forms

Body and Forms is an interactive station that prompts people to use their body parts to create interesting and unexpected forms.

In November 2014, I participated California Academy of Science Elemental Nightlife hosted by California College of the Arts. I did project with two other CCA alumni, Mark Liang and Amie Zukowski for this one of the most inspiring events in Bay Area.

The project prompts people to use their body parts to create interesting and unexpected forms. Participants (max 5 people) created an object, animal, or an abstract concept based on a single line instruction. Using a live feed camera, we captured the final arrangement and displayed the image on a public monitor at the event. We built the website that is an archive of the images that participants created during the event.

The step:

  1. Check instruction

  2. Go under the structure and do your mission

  3. Be creative!

  4. Check the monitor and visit our website and see how other people are hilarious!

Here are photos and go-pro video during the event.
